General Conditions

Decidim Ljubljana is managed by the Cultural Society Gmajna, PE Ulica Vide Pregarčeve 11, 1000 Ljubljana, Peace Institute, Metelkova ulica 6, 1000 Ljubljana and Community of Municipalities of Slovenia, Partizanska cesta 1, 2000 Maribor. Decidim Ljubljana is part of the EMVI project.

Users

are natural and legal persons interested in content on the website, reading, commenting, liking or writing contributions.

There are three levels of

1. users: Users without registration can freely and anonymously access the platform and navigate through it while reading. All public content on the platform can be read by anyone.
2. Registration is necessary in order to comment or like posts by others.
3. Some features, such as voting, require verification of the user's identity.

   Account Anyone who registers on the platform receives a user account

This requires a name/pseudonym, username/alias, email address and password. Users provide data about themselves voluntarily and we process this data on the basis of their consent.

User registration is done by double login: after completing the registration form, users receive a confirmation email for verification purposes and must accept the “Legal Information and Terms of Use”. Only then the account is active

, and

you can add a profile picture and additional information to your account, which is then visible to all users. The email address used for registration is not visible on the platform.

User account can be deleted at any time in the profile settings. As a result, all stored personal data, including the profile picture and other information in the profile, will be irrevocably deleted. Content created using the platform (comments, suggestions, responses to surveys, etc.) remains in an anonymous form for the sake of transparency and intelligibility of the collaboration processes. This information is assigned to an anonymous account.

Re-participation in the platform is only possible after a new registration.

Personal data

is recorded in your account and can be edited through your profile settings.

This information includes information such as an email address or password. This data is stored in encrypted form. They can never be seen from the

outside.Created content

Users create content that includes comments, suggestions, survey responses, etc. These contents are subject to the following conditions:

• contents refer to public topics and are therefore publicly available.
• Publication or distribution of content: User-generated content may be published by project managers on the platform or where they consider it appropriate (e.g. in the media). Content generated by the user is
• not deleted, but may be assigned to an anonymous account (see above).

at any

time. Export includes all data related to the account (personal data and generated content). This ensures transparency about what data the platform collects and stores, and a

password-protected compressed file is created to export the data to download. Users will receive a download link and password via email.

Since this is sensitive data, the data is encrypted and can only be opened with open source compression software (7-Zip (Windows), KUKA (Mac OS) or PeaZip (Linux)).

Basic rules Users must act conscientiously and in accordance with the terms of use. The following rules

apply on the platform:

Give constructive feedback. Display alternatives. Keep mutual respect. Do not use

make racist, anti-Semitic, sexist or otherwise discriminatory

all users are responsible for the correct use of the platform and for the legality of content and shared opinions. All participants can report violations of the rules. You can report objectionable content by clicking on the small flag icon or by email. Platform administrators review the application and, if necessary, take the necessary legal action

project managers reserve the right to remove opinions, information, comments, suggestions or media from the Platform that are contrary to the Terms of Use. Project managers reserve the right to suspend the activities of platform users by deactivating accounts, especially in cases of violation of applicable rights and/or conditions of use,

which renders the created content invisible.
