Together, we can seek solutions and formulate proposals to improve the inclusion of migrants in the Municipality of Ljubljana, paying particular attention to e-participation and the development of competences for migrants’ political involvement.

The participation process has four phases:

PHASE 1 Proposals are developed through the online process on DECIDIM Ljubljana and through in-person issue-raising meetings. Check for past and upcoming meetings here.

PHASE 2 Proposals are uploaded to DECIDIM Ljubljana, where they can be endorsed and commented on. Check for active proposals in the 'Proposals' tab.

PHASE 3 The proposals are formulated into policy papers.

PHASE 4 The policy papers are submitted to the Municipality of Ljubljana.

The development of municipal inclusion strategies is strongly recommended in both the EU and the Slovenian government's migration policies.

DECIDIM Ljubljana is part of the EMV-LII project, co-funded by the EU and implemented in Slovenia by KD Gmajna, the Peace Institute, the Community of Municipalities of Slovenia, and the Municipality of Ljubljana.
